The W139 premises at Warmoestraat 139, which was totally renovated in 2007, is part of the Blaauwlakenblok buildings. This historical part of Amsterdam is currently undergoing a complete renovation, thanks to De Key. De Key is making an active contribution to Amsterdam xs cultural exterior. In addition to restoring cultural heritage, De Key also invests in public art. Art not only beautifies the city but has been proven to have a positive influence on the quality of life in urban communities.

Now that the buildings are unoccupied and under reconstruction, housing federation De Key approached W139 to organise a temporary open air exhibition to make sure that life in the street was a pleasant as possible during the rebuilding.
