Report of an Ongoing Journey

In april 2003 the former theatre on the Warmoesstraat 139 was evacuated in order to prepare for extensive renovation. W139 made a conscious decision to become 'homeless' throughout the period of the renovation, choosing not to look for a building that could serve as a replacement. This decision could be considered an attempt to discover what constitutes the essence of the organization. The organization hopped from spot to spot for a year and a half. This scrapbook documents the 'transitional period'; each step of the road that led from the Warmoesstraat to the Oosterdokskade.
