Codicil Screenings: Anami Schrijvers

Codicil Screenings is a screening program that will run in the front space of the W139 until September.

Every Thursday evening an artist is invited to present their work amongst other moving images of their choice.

A codicil is an addition or supplement that explains, modifies or revokes a will.

On Thursday 2nd August Anami Schrijvers will present his work. The screening will include a preview of his new (currently untitled) film, which is structured around footage shot last year on a trip to Nepal in search of his missing brother. The film develops to explore what and whom he found whilst also grappling with broader notions of loss and autonomy.

The screening will begin promptly at 8pm! Please note that once the screening starts the doors will close.

Over the course of the program Axel Linderholm will be developing the front space of the W139.
