During the exhibition there are several activities during the day and at night in W139.
Thursday Sept 12:
Speak your own archive
The history of W139 is not only represented in a paper archive, but also in the stories of the people visiting, working in and creating the W139.
You are the carriers of W139's history that is not written down. We invite you all to exchange your memories and create the spoken archive of W139 on Thursday 12th September. Bring stories about your flirts, your scars, your moments of exhilaration or disappointment, your sweat, blood and tears. Your stories will be broadcasted live in the W139 through the TV-tower in the show.
Enjoy our drinks and homemade food while bringing up sweet memories!

After dinner we screen Double you street (On the occasion of the then fifteen year anniversary of W139, this portrait was made. A thirteen artists who were involved in this project talk about their experiences in interviews, which were held by as many filmmakers. Grootenboer provides the umbrella of these individual interviews with a general review of the history of W139.)
