Stampa

Important for our English speaking audience: Stampa will be moderated in Dutch

What is happening in the art world, and what are artists talking about? Why do artists get paid so little, is it time to go on strike? What are your rights when making art in public space? And how do you respond when your exhibition is scrutinized by a critic?

W139 warmly invites you to Stampa, a talk show for, with and about visual artists. This new talk show is hosted by Sacha Bronwasser and Oscar Peters, and was developed in collaboration with W139 and copyright organization Pictoright. Sacha Bronwasser, the host, is an art historian whose practice mainly consists of writing and speaking about art and film, for the Volkskrant and the International Film Festival Rotterdam among others. Oscar Peters, the co-host, is a visual artist. As one of the initiators of exhibitions, he is part of the presentation practice of W139. Each edition of Stampa, Sacha and Oscar will be joined by a number of guests, from artists to curators to critics, with whom they will discuss current en relevant issues in the art world.

The first edition of Stampa will take place on Friday the 4th of November at W139.
